INNOVATION AWARD

Ultrasound Innovation Award (UIA) Contest

Abstract submissions between July 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 will be selected for the 2009-2010 UIA award contest. Qualified abstracts will be judged by a panel of experts at the ISURA 2010 meeting. The winner of the best abstract will be awarded a Medal and a Grand Prize of US $1,000.

Here's your chance to share new information that helps to advance the practice of ultrasound imaging for regional anesthesia and pain management with colleagues around the world. Potential topics include:

- New block techniques
- New imaging techniques
- New needling techniques
- New equipment design
- New outcome data
- New tricks, "clinical pearls"

We invite you to submit an abstract and a video (if appropriate, up to two minutes in length) to describe and explain your new invention and discovery. Please make sure all submitted materials (text and video) are original. Your submission will be posted on the www.usra.ca website.

The top 10 entries as rated by the viewers will be eligible to win a
Medal and a Grand Prize of US $1,000. One Grand Prize winner will be selected from the finalists by a panel of experts. The winner of the Ultrasound Innovation Award will be announced after the International Symposium of Ultrasound for Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
